最新2021年度美国货主100强公布！

IHS Markit旗下PIERS的数据显示，2021年美国进出口集装箱贸易总额增长7.8%，进口量增长13.1%，抵消了出口下降3.1%的影响。
2021年美国进口增长基础广泛，汽车和零部件、家居用品、玩具和服装实现两位数百分比增长。2021年由于新冠疫苗而摆脱社会孤立的美国消费者继续将大部分钱花在商品上，而不是旅游和面对面娱乐等服务。
尽管电子产品和食品的进口没有像其他商品那样快速增长，但它们的长期增长轨迹仍在继续，这反映了美国经济的增长，其中低失业率和更低的利率推动了强劲的消费支出。（注意这里描述的是2021年的情况）

然而，对于美国出口商来说，2021年的故事是错失的机会之一。例如，由于全球需求激增，汽车和零部件的集装箱出境货量飙升22.2%，但实际汽车销售受到供应链中断和关键零部件短缺的限制，这表明在更“正常”的市场条件下增长可能会更加强劲。

食品、化学品和塑料以及农产品的出口同样受到港口拥堵的阻碍，港口拥堵扰乱了船期，导致运力和集装箱设备短缺。对某些类型废金属的需求上升为可回收材料出口带来了一线希望，但由于主要出口市场（即中国）更严格的环境法规，废纸量持续长期下降，抵消了这一增长。

以下是2021年度美国进口商前100名排名（数据来自PIERS，并通过包括托运人本身在内的其他行业来源收集的信息加强），数字以标准箱TEU表示。这些清单仅限于托运人——2020年通过远洋船舶进出美国港口的集装箱货物的受益所有人Beneficial Cargo Owner (BCO) ——不包括托运人协会、承运人、无船承运人、货运代理或经纪人、第三方物流供应商、银行，或“按订单”的可转让提单，或受隐私限制的数据。通过航空、铁路或卡车进出美国的国际进出口货物也不包括在内。
